GORPLEEZAR [GorPlêZar] comes from three words:
GORCH [GorCH] good
PLEEK [PlêK] neutral
ZARM [ZarM] bad
These three words form a trio of prefixes, GOR-, PLEE- and ZAR-, which can be used to modify verbs and adjectives.
For verbs, the prefixes mean:
GOR- = well
PLEE- = neutrally
ZAR- = poorly
Examples:
MONDOLA [MònDôLuh] to eat, drink, consume
GORMONDOLA to enjoy
PLEEMONDOLA to consume dully
ZARMONDOLA to choke down, suffer through
BOOLOLA [BûLôLuh] to affect
GORBLOLA [GorBlôLuh] to help, be good for
PLEEBLOLA to have little or no effect on
ZARBLOLA to harm, be bad for
SHEMOLA [SHèMôLuh] to have
GORSHMOLA [Gor.shMôLuh] to like
PLEESHMOLA to be indifferent to
ZARSHMOLA to dislike
MESHOLA [MèSHôLuh] to be had by, to belong to
GORMSHOLA [GormSHôLuh] to please, impress
PLEEMSHOLA to be uninteresting
ZARMSHOLA to displease
For many adjectives, these endings work the same way as for verbs.
Example:
SHMOOK [shMûK] taste
SHMOOKLE [shMûKul] (an adjective referring to what something tastes like)
GORSHMOOKLE good-tasting, delicious
PLEESHMOOKLE tasteless, bland
ZARSHMOOKLE bad-tasting
(Note how the ambiguity of the English word "tasteless", which can mean "offensive" or merely "bland", does not exist in Glazorthian.)
Some adjectives are formed from nouns that describe something quantifiable. In this case, the GORPLEEZAR prefixes mean:
GOR- = very, abundantly
PLEE- = not so very, on average
ZAR- = deficiently
Examples:
LEERB [LirB] height
GORLEERBLE [GorLirBul] tall
PLEELEERBLE of medium, average height
ZARLEERBLE short
The word LEERBLE itself is used to ask questions about height or to express it in specific quantities:
SQUOBBLE LEERBLE? How tall?
ZINK KREEFO LEERBLE. Three kreefs tall.
(A KREEF is a unit of measure approximately equal to 1.664 meters.)
HZIK [Hzi`K] size
GORZICKLE [GorZi`Kul] large
PLEEZICLE medium-sized
ZARZICKLE small
Other words treated the same way:
THEEM [THe^m] width; GORTHEEMLE wide; etc.
STRO [STro^] length; GORSTROLE long
FLAM [Fla`m] temperature; GORFLAMMEL [GorFla`Mul] hot
MOIX [MoiKS] ease; GORMOIXLE easy
ZEEM [Ze^m] speed; GORZEEMLE fast
GORKA [GorKuh] more than
PLEEKA [Ple^Kuh] the same as
ZARKA [ZarKuh] less than
The object takes the ablative.
BORKA [BorKuh] most
ZBORKA [zBorKuh] least
Examples:

BORKA HZICKLE OYAY BIDJIF [BorKuh Hzi`Kul OI. Bi`Ji`F] The greatest love of all
Similar to GORPLEEZAR but much simpler is YUZU, the dyad of yes/no.
YU [YU] indeed
ZU [Zu^] not
YINK [Yi`ngK] yes
ZONK [Zo`ngK] no
ZU- = not, un-
YUZU [YU.Zu^] is a question particle; adding it before the verb makes a sentence a yes/no question.
Example:
GORSHMIP KLARF. I like fish.
YUZU GORSHMORT KLARF? Do you like fish?
ZUPLEEKA [Zu^Ple`Kuh] different from (object takes the ablative)
Example:
HYUMUNNO ZUPLEEKA GLAZORTHIKOIF. Humans are different from Glazorthians.
