This neon sign at the local Fiesta store advertises the Aorist, a Greek grammatical structure for forming past tenses. However, so many locals have misread it as "florist" and attempted to buy flowers there that they started selling flowers as a sideline. Balloons too, apparently.

When I came home from the Furry Cruise, I found that the water leak in our lawn had been fixed. A crew came out and did extensive digging, and after they fixed the leak, they resodded our lawn.

The Christmas tree at the Houston Galleria. The tree is positioned in the middle of the year-round indoor skating rink, and the skaters get to skate around it. After I took this picture and another one of the giant ornaments hanging overhead, a security guard told me I couldn't take pictures in the Galleria. I told her I was just photographing the tree, and she said that was okay.
