Pasta é pizza. If it were "pasta e pizza" with no accent mark, it would mean "pasta and pizza". If it were "pasta è pizza" with a grave accent, it would mean "pasta is pizza". They don't tend to use acute accents in Italian though, so I'm not sure what "pasta é pizza" means.

"Arrant Grimes & Scalf" sounds more like something a British housewife has to clean out of the kitchen sink than a company of portrait artists.

This is my room, all lit up disco style with magenta and green lights. Except not. I achieved this effect with some very simple yet clever camera-and-Photoshop trickery. Can you figure out how?

A few miles north of Galveston, on the Gulf Freeway, there's a Fry's Electronics. Because it's near NASA, it's NASA-themed. The building looks as though it were made from a Saturn V rocket somehow. Inside the store, there are lots of fake spaceships hanging from the ceiling, making it look like a space museum.

The drive-thru lane at the Credit Union in the Medical Center. Notice anything wrong with this picture? As in, badly designed? The box of forms is half a car length behind the pneumatic tube. If it were a full car length, I could reach out and grab a form and be filling it out while waiting for the guy ahead of me to complete his transaction.

Mom started shopping at a new bakery to get gluten-free products for Dad. For being a loyal new customer, she was given two tickets in a raffle the bakery held recently. She won this wedding cake! The dang thing was so big, the lid on the box couldn't close. And it was so heavy, Mom needed my help carrying it into the house!

Mom reenacts her reaction to the monstrous wedding cake she won. We cut and ate two pieces from it, and donated the rest to the gymnasts at Mom's friend Peggy's gym. They ate it up.

Ever since I saw Pixar's "Cars", I had the urge to Pixarify my car by Photoshopping a face onto it. After I did, Babs decided my car should be named Steve. Behind Steve is my mom's minivan, nicknamed Stitch.

Non-Pixar toy cars that mingle with my Cars characters. L to R: Ronnie, a '65 Pontiac GTO; Paul McCar, a blue VW Beetle; Paul Steele, a grey Porsche; Darda, an old Darda pullback racer that still works; and a Hummer that I bought to reenact the "Man, now I got dirt in my rims" scene with.
